By accessing and using Impact Player, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use our service.

Impact Player is a GitHub contribution analysis tool that provides insights into your coding activity and impact within organizations.

You agree to use Impact Player only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use automated systems to excessively query our API
• Reproduce, duplicate, or copy any portion of the service

Impact Player uses GitHub's public API to fetch your contribution data. By using our service, you acknowledge that:

• You have the right to access the GitHub data being analyzed
• You comply with GitHub's Terms of Service
• You understand GitHub API rate limits may apply
• We are not responsible for GitHub API availability or changes

We respect GitHub's rate limits and implement appropriate caching to minimize API calls.

Impact Player is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be available at all times
• The service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Results will be 100% accurate or complete
• Defects will be corrected immediately

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Impact Player and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any part of the service without our prior written permission.

Your GitHub data remains your property. We only analyze and visualize publicly available information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Impact Player shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Errors or inaccuracies in analysis results
• Service interruptions or unavailability
• Third-party service failures (e.g., GitHub API)

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months, or $0 if you used the free tier.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Impact Player and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by:

• Posting the updated terms on this page
• Updating the "Last updated" date
• Providing notice through the service when possible

Your continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
